Prayer for 2010

As the dawn breaks on a new year, let us give thanks for all we hold dear: our health, our family and our friends.

Let us release our grudges, our anger and our pains, for these are nothing but binding chains. Let us live each day in the most loving ways, the God-conscious way.
Let us serve all who are in need, regardless of race, color or creed. Let us keep God of our own understanding in our hearts and to chant God's name each day. Let us lead the world from darkness to light, from falsehood to truth and from wrong to right.
Let us remember that we are all one, embracing all, discriminating against none.

May our year be filled with peace, prosperity and love. May God's blessings shower upon us and bestow upon each of us a bright, healthy and peaceful new year.

Dear Lord, as I close the door on this old year,
I ponder on the things I've done...
on the things I've said and the joys I've had...
then I wonder, have I lost or won?
I've thought of the new friends I have made,
and of the old ones staunch and true...
the path of the old year was made easier Lord,
because I have walked it with You.

I think of all the many times,
when my burdens were so heavy to bear,
and how my faith slipped away from me...
but somehow You were always standing there.

Now as I open the door to this New Year,
and carefully peep inside,
I wonder what it holds for me...
but I'll throw the door open wide.

And whatever it brings to me and my loved ones,
I'll meet it with a heart so true...
I know that, Lord whatever it may be
You'll be there to carry me through.

Another year is dawning
With the chance to start anew.
May I be kinder, wiser, Lord,
In all I say and do.

Not so caught up in selfish gain
That I would fail to see
The things in life that mean the most
to me and to my loved ones.

The warm, kind word that I can give,
The outstretched hand to help,
The prayers I pray for those in need--
More precious are these than wealth.

I know not what may lie ahead
Of laughter or of tears;
I only need to know each day
That You are walking near with me.

I'm thankful for this brand new year
As now I humbly pray,
My hand secure in Yours, dear Lord,
Each step along the way.

As a family Lord bind us always,
Protect us always from the whiles of the evil one. In Jesus’ name!
Release us from the generational bondages that runs in our family:
DISEASES like diabetes, arthritis, hypertension, weakness of heart, weak eyesight, stomach disorder, cancer, respiratory diseases

WEAKNESSES like occult, immorality, pride, lust, anger, greed, envy, abortion, homosexuality, abusive language, bad temper, insanity, un-forgiveness and low self esteem
ADDICTIONS to alcohol, drugs, gambling, promiscuity, excessive smoking
And FINANCIAL bondage of POVERTY! Bless all our endeavors, jobs and businesses. Teach us to give our tithings to You and trust in Your promise that if we give 10% of our earnings to the church you will open the gates of heavens and shower upon us the blessings full measure and overflowing.

Most especially release us from the evil power of ancestral curse or sumpa. We declare that this curse is broken now In Jesus’ name!

We now forgive and bless our loved ones who knowingly or unknowingly hurt us and inflicted these things to us. Bless them Lord and we now release them also from all negativity that binds them. Curses have been broken and blessings are coming our way now! In Jesus’ name!

We now claim that all of us, even those who are not present tonight are healed and released from all these bondages and we will face the New Year with better health, prosperity and peace. We declare success in our lives! In Jesus’ name!
In Jesus’ name.

Guide us in our plans,
Let us always see Your hand in all the things we do,
Give us the courage to face the New Year
With trust and faith that you will not leave us
As long as we keep our faith in You, dear Father,
That we will always follow Your will
And in so doing, we know that victory will always be there.

Mama Mary continue to intercede for us,
And always protect us with your blue mantle of protection.
Let us hail your name as the angel Gabriel hailed your name

Hail mary, full of grace………..
Glory be………….

All these Father we ask and pray in the mighty name of your son Jesus who lives and reigns with You and the Holy spirit,

One God, forever and ever. Amen.

Bro Jing Mendoza was the speaker in our first prayer meeting after the CLSS. He explained what prayer meeting is all about. We had around 52 attendees, some of which were new (non graduates of CLSS). Nevertheless, they were so blessed with Bro.Jing's insights of the sunday's gospel that they opted to stay throughout the meeting.

Immaculate Conception

Luke 1:26-38 "The angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town of Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the house of David, and the virgin's name was Mary. And coming to her, he said,"Hail, favored one! The Lord is with you." But she was greatly troubled at what was said and pondered what sort of greeting this might be.Then the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. Behold you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give Him the throne of David his Father, and he will rule over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end." But Mary said to the angel, "How can this be, since I have no relations with a man?" And the angel said to her in reply, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God. And behold, Elizabeth, your relative, has also conceived a son in her old age, and this is the sixth month for her who was called barren;  for nothing will be impossible for God. "Mary said, "Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word." Then the angel departed her.

Today, December 8 is holiday of obligation. Mass at 6PM. It is also our first prayer meeting with Bro. Jing as our speaker. Please come with your family and friends.
